Another year has come and gone and it is time once again to celebrate the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

Food Drive Begins
This is the 20th year of the Lee Padgett Food Drive. Members of the public can drop off canned foods and non-perishables in the designated boxes outside the schools’ Main Office, at either Davis or Eisenhower (Ike) High Schools.

California Food Bank Struggles To Keep Stock Up Amid Economic Climate
TUESDAY, JANUARY 10TH
6-8:30 p.m. The OIC of Washington presents: “Movie Night at the OIC”. The movie SELMA will be shown in the MLK Room at the Beauchamp Community Center (1211 S 7th St, Yakima). Register to attend here. Children in grades Kindergarten thru 8th grade are participating in this year’s annual 2-day tournament event. $7 admission per person. If you want to eat, please also bring $4 to get a meal.
